Stacking the Shelves (6)

Earlier today was Pinoy Book Tours' Christmas Party and sixteen Pinoy book bloggers met up! Yeap, I am still a new blogger but it's so nice to meet your co-bloggers, idols and the people who understand your book hoarding the most. Heehee.

We played Human Bingo and a YA trivia quiz! We chatted until the time was up. It was so fun! We got lots of books. Merry merry Christmas to all of us!

So here are the books that I got a while ago!

Gifted

Precious got me for the Kris Kringle and these two books are at the top of my list! Weehoo! Thank you Precious!

I was borrowing Precious' copy when Louisse tweeted me that she'll just give me a signed copy. Wow! I still can't believe it happened even though I'm cradling it now. Haha! Thank you so much Louisse! <3 It's signed! With a bookmark!

"Won"
(We brought books we'd like to give away and we compiled them all. Then we each got at least two books!)

I think this is from Tiff... Or Chyna or Alyana. I'm not sure! Still, thank you! I don't need to buy it anymore, mwahahaha!

Won

I won in Kate's giveaway and she brought it today for me to claim! Thank you Kate! <3

"Won"

No one wanted it so I took them home! They're by a Filipina author. Thank you Kai!

Borrowed

From Precious

The Faerie Ring by Kiki Hamilton (So that I can join The Torn Wing tour!)
The Glimpse by Claire Merle (Been wanting to read this for so long!)
Fated by Sarah Alderson (I borrowed it because I already have Severed!)

From Kate

Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (This is it! I can finally read it in time for the movie!)

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews. Share your haul! :)

I have Shatter Me on standby in my huge stack from two weeks ago that I still have got through. I tried to read An Abundance of Katherines a few years back and couldn't get into it but I might try again one day. You got a great haul this week!

    1. Thank you for following, Joni! Followed you back!

I need to read Shatter Me asap because Tahereh Mafi is coming to the Philippines next year! As for An Abundance of Katherines, I've started reading it before but wasn't able to continue on too due to school. So now's the time I guess. Yeap, I got a great haul this week and I love it to bits! <3

  3. Great haul this week! I read The Forsaken a few weeks ago and I adored it. It really reminded me of The Hunger Games and the Maze Runner series.

    1. Hi Krystianna! Love your name (and your blog)!

Yeap, that's why I wanted to read it. Because it sounds so good. Hee. Never thought I'd get myself a signed copy. So sweet!

  4. You have a great haul! Shatter Me ~(I've heard great things about it but need to read it myself), precious, and the forsaken. I'm doing the exact same thing with beautiful creatures. I MUST finish it before the movie. :P

    1. Well, I'm not aiming to finish them, maybe even just start them. Heehee. I've heard tons of great things about Shatter Me also so I am so excited to read it. Thank you for dropping by! :D

  5. I can't believe I haven't found your blog before :O Happy to follow, heh!

Anyway, about the haul, umm.. I can tell you that Prophecy of the Sisters was pretty great, I read it about two years ago and I enjoyed the darkness, mythology and everything. It was pretty gripping, but not for everyone, that's for sure! Got the sequel about a month ago and I'm anxious to give it a try. I want to read Forsaken so bad, ugh. Can't wait to start this! I got Shatter me about a month ago and the same thing with this one:) Thennn.. The last one, Beautiful Creatures, I've read and I liked it, but didn't love it. Lots of people do though, but I just thought Ethan was too whiny for a boy and even though the world building was absolutely fantastic, it all moved too slow for me. Couldn't be more excited about the movie though;) Happy reading, I hope you'll enjoy all of these and I cannot wait to see what you think of them!

PS. Your blog name made my day, haha. Love it!

    1. I'm pretty new so I'm not surprised you haven't been to my blog before. Thanks for the follow and I followed back! :D

That's why I picked Prophecy of the Sisters! It sounded great and creepy just from the blurb and the cover. I am just want to watch Beautiful Creatures because Robert Sheehan plays Simon. Which might be a problem because I might be predisposed to be Team Simon. Heehee.

Yes, I love my blog name too! I once said that if ever I didn't get this URL, I won't book blog anymore. Haha! :D
